Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2023

The Lucknow Super Giants franchise is the second team to be added to the Indian Premier League in 2022. It is formed on October 25, 2021. Sanjeev Goenkar is the owner of this franchise, and the team captaincy is given to KL Rahul, while Andy Flower is the coach of the Lucknow Super Giants. Under the captaincy of KL and the mentorship of Gautam Gambir, the Lucknow Super Giants qualified for the playoffs in the 15th season of the IPL. The Lucknow Super Giants are a newly added team based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.In the past, the RPSG has owned the rights to the franchise since 2016–17. Sanjeev Goenkar paid 7090 crores for the rights to the Lucknow Super Giants.The LSG officially played their first game in the 15th edition of the IPL.

The captain of the Lucknow Super Giants, KL Rahul, has taken the team to the play-offs of the IPL 2022 under the mentorship of Gautam Gambir in its debut season. Hopefully, the Lucknow Super Giants will return to the competition with some modifications to win the title of IPL 2023.

However, this team will prevent good results in the IPL 2023, as per the level of competition.

Lucknow Super Giants have made some changes to their team this year in the hope that they will win the IPL 2023 title.The newcomer in the Lucknow Super Giants team is the West Indies super flexible player, Nicholas Pooran, with an INR 16 crore.
