India’s cricket star, Virat Kohli, and former team captain, MS Dhoni, have a strong bond between them. Dhoni gracefully transferred the captaincy responsibilities to Kohli in all formats before retiring on August 15, 2020. During their time together on the field, Kohli was not hesitant to seek guidance and learn from Dhoni, even when leading the team with Dhoni as the wicketkeeper-batter.

As a result, Kohli became a better captain. Besides Dhoni’s strategic abilities, Kohli recently revealed in a Q&A video on JioCinema that he admires Dhoni’s “quadriceps, calves, and composure” and would love to possess those qualities. When asked what three things he would “beg, borrow and steal” from Dhoni, Kohli’s response was clear.
