The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league in India contested during March or April and May of every year by eight teams representing eight different cities or states in India The league was founded by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2008. The match between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals took place in Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi. This change was corroborated due to the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.The game started with Mumbai Indians winning the toss. They further chose to bat. The empires were Virender Sharma, S Ravi, Chris Gaffaney, Ulhas Gandhe. And, the referee was Shakti Singh. Suryakumar Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah combined as Mumbai Indians secured an impressive 57-run win over Rajasthan Royals at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi in the Indian Premier League clash on Tuesday.

It all started with Suryakumar scoring an unbeaten 79 from 47 balls as his knock helped Mumbai post a challenging 193/4 on the board. He became the man of the match. Rajasthan Royals had a loose start as they lost Yashasvi Jaiswal, Steve Smith, and Sanju Samson inside the powerplay overs. Jos Buttler did show some spirit as he scored 70 from 44 balls before a screamer from Kieron Pollard brought an end to his charm. Apart from him, no other Rajasthan Royals produced any fight as the team was bundled out on 136 in 18.1 overs. Bumrah emerged as the leading wicket-taker for Mumbai Indians who finished the match with four wickets and gave away just 20 runs in his four overs quota.


MI captain Rohit Sharma hailed his team’s quality. “We have a lot of quality and it’s about getting the job done. They all have a lot of confidence. They’re all talented and they can take the game away on their day and it’s all falling into place,” said the Indian cricketer. He also praised his bowlers Jasprit Bumrah in particular who shone as he grabbed his first four-wicket haul in T20 cricket. “It’s good to have bowlers who can exploit the conditions”, Rohit quipped. Whereas the captain of Rajasthan Royals Steve Smith lamented his team’s display. Criticizing his team, he said, “I think losing wickets early doesn’t help, we haven’t been able to get off to a good start in the last three games.”
