After a blistering season of the Hero Indian Super League, full of excitement and Drama, the fans are now excited for the upcoming challenges of the Indian Football Team.

Igor Stimac, the Head Coach of Indian Football team, declared a list of 27 probables for the Dubai camp of friendlies, against Oman and UAE, that has led to a lot of speculations and awe among the experts and fans. The list is definitely a ‘Renaissance’ in Indian football cause of the Inclusion of youngsters and some new faces.

This edition of Hero Indian Super League was no doubt very unique in every way. Starting from the Bio Bubble to all the Covid protocols, the fan walls and organising an event of such strata at a particular location; we have also seen a rise of new Indian players and much improvements in the overall gameplay. Igor Stimac surely had to analyse everything before selecting his squad, so the list of probables holds a lot of promises.

Below is the list of the 27 member squad :

Goalkeepers: Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Amrinder Singh, Subhashish Roy Chowdhury, Dheeraj Singh.

Defenders: Ashutosh Mehta, Akash Mishra, Pritam Kotal, Sandesh Jhingan, Chinglensana Singh, Adil Khan, Mandar Rao Dessai, Mashoor Shereef.

Midfielders: Rowllin Borges, Lalengmawia, Jeakson Singh, Raynier Fernandes, Anirudh Thapa, Bipin Singh, Yasir Mohammad, Suresh Singh, Halicharan Narzary, Lallianzuala Chhangte, Ashique Kuruniyan.

Forwards: Manvir Singh, Ishan Pandita, Hitesh Sharma, Liston Colaco.

Sunil Chetri was removed from the list as he was infected with Covid and is under treatment.

Igor Stimac also said that Brandon Fernandes, Rahul Bheke, Sahal Abdul Samad and Asish Rai weren’t available for selection as they are undergoing rehab at the moment

The Average Age of the squad is 24.88, so expecting the domination of a new era.

The Team are to leave for Dubai on Monday and are expected to play their first match against Oman on 25th March and 2nd friendly against UAE on 29th March.
