Jasprit Bumrah is dealing with a back problem after a fantastic performance in the first match of the T20 series against South Africa, and it is doubtful that he will be fit to play for India in the T20 World Cup 2022.India has decided to replace Jasprit Bumrah in the remaining two T20 matches against South Africa with Mohammed Siraj.

But still, India is hoping for the speedy recovery of Jasprit Bumrah ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022. Because it will be quite an uneasy task for the Senior Selection Committee to pick another pacer who can play a similar game for India as Jasprit Bumrah in the T20 World Cup 2022. And there is very little time available for Jasprit Bumrah to recover from health issues as soon as possible, and it is also difficult for team selectors to appoint somebody else at the last moment.

However, for the time being, it is preferable to appoint Umran Malik, a young and talented pacer with a track record of exceeding 130 and 150 kmph. And also took around 22 wickets in 14 matches only in the T20 format. Despite his track record of quick deliveries that confuse opponents’ batters, Mohammed Siraj has been named to replace Jasprit Bumrah in a T20 match against South Africa.

The statement of the selection committee is that Jasprit Bumrah is currently dealing with a higher stage of back pain and, with due respect to his health, we took a decision to appoint Mohammed Siraj to the team. We have the belief that the medical team will take full care of Bumrah and soon he will be in action, officially released by the media.
